The AI Writer helps you generate or improve text directly within any text widget. Use it to create professional introductions, service descriptions, promotional content, and more.
Please note: If this is your first time using the AI Writer, you may be asked to accept the Terms of Service before continuing.
To use the AI writer:
- Sign in to the eCommerce Store Builder.
- Select any text widget to open the settings toolbar above the text box.
- Press the AI Writer button in the toolbar.
4. Choose a Tone of voice (casual, neutral, or formal).
- Casual is relaxed and informal, often similar to everyday conversation with friends or family.
- Neutral is balanced and straightforward, aiming for clear and concise communication without strong emotions or formality.
- Formal is polished and respectful, often used in professional, academic, or official contexts.
5. In the text box, describe the content you need. Be specific to get the best results (for example, "Write a friendly homepage introduction for a ceramic studio in Toronto that offers online shopping and workshops for beginners").
6. Press the Generate text button.
7. Once the AI generates a suggestion, you have 4 choices:
- Copy (icon): Save the text to your clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere.
- Back: Return to the previous screen so you can change your preferences.
- Retry: Generate a new version using the same preferences.
- Insert: Instantly inject the copy straight into your widget.
8. Once you’re happy with the results, press Publish.
